Month before launch update

Hey Readers!

We're now about a month out from launch so for this first newsletter, we wanted to share updates on where we're at so far:

First, on packaging:

- Care cards: received! we noticed a lot of jewelry comes with a branded card but we wanted ours to also be useful so we printed the care instructions on the backside. Also bc we kinda have a different philosophy on care.

- Outer packaging: completed, just waiting on shipment. I'm so excited for these. You might note that this isn't your standard box but rather a pouch! We really hope you like this, we felt that the same old box did not feel special nor was it exciting to open… so we packaged ours like candy instead.

- Inner sachet: the inner layer for hygiene and protection has also been sampled and approved by us

- Anti-tarnish strips: actually we received these first but this is something we think should be the jewelry packaging norm. This thing uses charcoal to absorb sulfur naturally occurring in the air which causes tarnishing on silver (and if you read our other blog here, you'll note that any gold that isn't 24k is alloyed with silver - causing metals like 14k gold to dull over time too)

On product:

- CAD model: approved by manufacturers! Timeline's looking like first sample in about a week so stay tuned!

*Final note: silver prices have risen a significant amount just over this past year. If you like the look of our product, make sure to sign up for the email as we cannot guarantee the price will be this low after the first 200 pieces sell out.
